What kind of device node would that need to be? A tty node? Something like ng_tty only the other way 'round? BMS>I prefer the idea of in-kernel ppp, though, for 1Mbps+ xDSL use. I suppose something like pppoed would do it by just stacking the pppoed node on top of an ng_atm node instead of ng_ether's orphan.
