Why are you using -i0 ?  That is likely to result in temporary
    unix domain queuing overflows or interface queue drops.  And there 
    is no point using ping to test for packet problems if you don't tell
    it to send larger packets.  Do something like this:

    Use -i 0.05 -s 1200 -c 1000 destination
