Hi Chris, I'm glad to hear that is all working for you now, and you're very welcome. One of the things that drew me to FreeBSD and eventually becoming a ports tree committer was the assistance and encouragement of the whole community around it. It's nice to see you having the same experience! I have not worked with ZFS yet, but there's a lot of discussion of it on the various mailing lists, and I'm sure you'll find some expert guidance once again. One thing I have gleaned over the years is "give it lots of memory"! If you haven't seen these pages already, they are a good place to start: http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/filesystems-zfs.html http://wiki.freebsd.org/ZFSTuningGuide http://forums.freebsd.org/showthread.php?t=23544 (Root partition on ZFS) Hope that helps, Greg - -- Greg Larkin http://www.FreeBSD.org/ - The Power To Serve http://www.sourcehosting.net/ - Ready.
