For what it's worth, I'd prefer:

[Ludwig]

I'm not keen on abbreviations of FreeBSD, underscores, or hyphens. 
Sooner or later, people might naturally begin mis-typing FBSD-LDWG or 
fbsd-ldwg or FreeBSD_LDWG or FreeBSD-LDWG. Bear in mind, there's already 
some confusion about list addresses with and without hyphens.
