In a recent thread started by me, named "Network is crazy slow in DP2" I wrote that I'm getting substantially lower speeds than I should be over my 100mbit link (realtek 8139 on both sides). I'm not going to repeat everything that I have already said in the other thread, but I'm going to re-ask if there are any ideas out there. I've tried quite a few things, including:
-rebooting -enabling/disabling the link -switching between polling/non-polling mode -another client to make sure it wasn't just the XP box's fault -changing net.inet.tcp.delayed_ack to 0 from 1 -prayer -ttcp. It shows 1.3mb/sec which a 10mbit link can do. All of my dmesg info and whatnot is in the other thread that I named above. If you have ANY IDEAS for me at all, please let me know.
