Worked for me, thanks !

Well, this time it worked doing it after reboot ;-)
But I'll be warned.
Problems that remain on my P5 233 notebook:
a) Xircom Card isn't detected
Though I get a message during boot:
devclass_alloc_unit: xe0 already exists, using next available unit number
Ejecting and reinserting doesn't cure the problem.
b) Can't mount cdrom
mount /cdrom
Device busy
But I'm not under /cdrom and doesn't have a CD mounted
/etc/fstab
