i think i was able to get on there and upvote it... it has been a long
while since i actually logged in over there even though i do drop by over
there fairly regularly...
It doesn't seem like it will make it :/ If anyone else wants to submit an
alternate announcement, feel free. There's another editor on duty now
compared to when I made my submission, so maybe he will pick up a new one.
Judging by my own behaviour:
I think the requirement to log in is a bit too much for people to actually
perform an upvote.
