That's false, since people already said that they use it and are happy
with it.  Honestly, nothing new is being said here and you ignore
other people's viewpoints.  The majority that have spoken up are
against your change.  Even Delphi's implementation says that it can
change, so relying on its performance is stupid.  So the only solution
for you is to implement your own (as you've already done) and use it
both in Delphi and fpc.
