I am the primary developer of fpGUI - doing most of the work. And I
find Git fits my workflow much better. I also posted usage
instructions in the fpGUI newsgroup on how to use Git and so far the
other contributors don't have any issues with the switch to Git.
I am wondering what are that needs for project with *the only one
developer* that svn cannot serve well and that alone developer need
to install another source control system? Imo just a waste of time.
And not only your time but all other developers who need to update
from your repository. Now they need to learn git and to install it
on their systems.
I think that particular discussion is for fpc-other, not fpc-pascal.
I've marked this thread now as requiring moderation on the fpc-pascal
