Rather than focusing on one specific person who didn't opt in, it would be more helpful imho to reconsider the "private vs public archives" question. If the community feels the content of the list should be disclosed publicly to increase transparency, then a decision should be taken to make the archives public. If this decision is taken and some committee members are unhappy with it, they're free to resign.
