Dear GFortan Team, My name is Paulina Kowalska and I am currently conducting research at the University of Oldenburg in the field of open-source software. My study focuses on the impact of the Sovereign Tech Fund (STF) on the work within open-source projects. In this context, I have already been in touch with Paul Sharratt.
As part of my research, I aim to analyze the effects of STF support and would like to conduct interviews with individuals involved in projects funded by the STF. During my search, I came across your project, and I would be delighted to hear about your experiences. I would greatly appreciate it if you could refer me to someone who might be suitable. The interview will take approximately one hour and can be conducted in either English or German, based on your preference. I am planning to schedule interviews between late January and early February. What will the interview cover? The discussion will focus on the following topics: Your general experience working in open-source projects. Changes or support mechanisms that have impacted your work, including (if relevant) the role of the Sovereign Tech Fund. Collaboration dynamics within your community and with external supporters. If relevant, changes in security standards and processes. Please note that the interview will be recorded to ensure accuracy during the analysis. The recordings will only be used for research purposes, and all data will be anonymized to protect your privacy. I would be very grateful if you would be willing to contribute to my research. I am happy to arrange a time that works best for you. Thank you in advance for your consideration, and please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Kind regards, Paulina Kowalska --- Paulina Kowalska Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg Department of Computer Science Environmental & Sustainable Information Systems Ammerländer Heerstraße 114-118, 26129 Oldenburg, Germany
