I just want to clarify again why this requirement exists. Apache's git support is still evolving and infra needs people to help get the tools built. So as part of the beta they are asking projects who want to use the service to provide volunteers to help build and maintain it. When you think of it like that it's not an unreasonable request at all. Greg
