Regarding the guys who wait for Alex to share his thoughts. I dont want to speak for him but I think that he shared some of his vision in the thread about FalconJS and the slide presentation. And I think that he stated that he needs help from the community to create something that makes sense and complete the vision.
Also about the ones who think that Flex is safe for the next 3-4 years. That may be true but a complete rewrite or a complete refactoring or targeting other platforms will take A LOT of time to be completed. Planning something like this early is critical.
