One can still use the source distribution with Flash Builder/other IDEs. We are just not shipping the .project, .flexProperties, etc. files. FlashBuilder will go ahead and create these files for the user. The README explains the other things needed to make it work with FlashBuilder/other IDEs. Thanks, Om
