4. (non-binding), because it is what I know and what I know to work.

I'm all for trying something 'new' once the project is (much) further
along and the support for it is firmly in place. For now I'd really
like to focus on moving the SDK forward, and not spend a whole lot of
time and energy on arguing the pros and cons or two perfectly good
version control systems and their use-cases.
