Indeed my Email was before the survey. I though that Fabridge was not in the release( looks like i was wrong).
@ Scott Guthmann Looking at my Support for the Flex Framework and the Flash platform in general. For more then 4 years i ve been trying to bring Flex/Flash/AIR to Java developers. Been in tons of conference to talk about how great the Flash platform is when it comes to RIA. I even went the insane road to export the entire Flash Platform to Java(using GWT) so transition for Java Devs will be even smoother(No excuses that you dont like ActionScript, do it in Java now loool) and also the integration of some HTML5 capabilities like LocalStorage, Geolocation will be a bit simpler. I did not only exported Flex, but also AIR and a lot of other AS3 libraries like AlivePDF, PurePDF, Aswing, AS3Xls, Starling, etc... Concerning FABridge i reported bugs to Adobe( They were so nice to never fix them). When Adobe screw things up with they announcement to donate Flex to Apache (Note i think the donation s great just the way they went about it was terrible) i was in every forum possible trying to reassure people and customers that Flash/Flex is still a great platform to build on. Even at my day to day work i had to fight hard to not make our customers move the ExtJS or something like that Aint that enough support ? My work never really got any attention in the Flash/Flex community. Probably because i m leveraging Java and not AS3. Personally i think at the end of the day the Flash platform wins. But i could not really convince any AS3 developer. The evangelist at Adobe politely ignored my emails. Not even a "No Thanks" (never mind). So yeah maybe i should maintain FABridge myself to get some more credit loooool Our tools rely heavely on FABridge. If there s nobody to maintain it. We are willing to do it.
