Carol,
I have seen this error when I have a version of the app already installed on my
system. Especially when there are differences in how we sign the app. Can you
please try uninstalling the previous version and try running the installer
again?
As for the build.properties change, I am a bit vague about what you are asking
me to do. If you can put up a patch, I will be glad to integrate it. Or, more
details would help
