This is a high traffic mailing list; so I get frustrated with the
occasional barrage of "me too/+1" non-vote-thread posts which add nothing
to any discussion.
I question how many of the people who want this are willing to put time
and effort into maintaining it.
I understand your concern (/frustration), but in this case, I think it was
important to gauge the interest of the community.
And I think at least 5 people express their will to contribute.
