Isn't the IT8 strictly for slide film? There is a calibration sequence
for the IT8 slide in Vuescan, which I used when I was running the
Artixscan 4000.

I've unfortunately had to stop using Vuescan when I got the Dimage 5400
II. It has terrible banding with VueScan. The good news is the software
supplied by Minolta for the 5400 II is very good.

I have the pro-version of Vuescan, so I guess I own it for as long as Ed
wants to keep upgrading it. I believe the program has some features for
use with a digital camera. Of course, I'd have to go digital first. ;-)
