Normal or Fine can be used and again using the photoshop layers method
(exclusion/difference) you can see the differences between the ICE'd version
and the 'raw' version. From my experience, ICE softens details. Not enough to
make me stop using it on a daily basis, but enough that if I have a
neg/tranny that I want to enlarge, I will do a raw scan and do the rest
myself.
