I must say that's my view too. I have very little to say about scanners these days, having moved on to shooting digital exclusively, and at the same time losing touch with current models. I'm still scanning historic stuff, 20+yr old negs needing rescue, a ghastly business. I rather think most users are in much the same position, with by now adequate knowledge and filmscanners they're happy with. There aren't many new adopters of this now mature technology, which is past its peak, just like film itself.
