You are absolutely correct; I was in error, which I acknowledged in another posting. The version I have is 7.6.35, which has a different interface with this option located under the output tab. The User Guide on the web site that I quoted was for the current 7.6.61 version ( and the Pro Edition I might add although that is not entirely clear on the web site).
Moreover, since I last upgrqaded, it appears tht Ed added a Pro edition to the Standard Edition and the significant difference is that the Standard Edition does not allow for color space settings as you and Henk stated. When I got my last upgrade, there was only one edition; and the web site Vuescan page does not mention that there are two different editions. The only way that one would know that is to go to the "purchase page," which I did only as an after thought later in the discussion. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Andreas Siegert Sent: Friday, September 26, 2003 4:29 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [filmscanners] Re: Vuescan color space question LAURIE SOLOMON wrote: > It is the Output tab not the Color tab. Na, in the output tab you only specify that you want a profile. You wrote yourself that the profile is set in the color tab when quoting the help file. And as Henk wrote, the pro version is needed to make color space settings available. cheers afx -- Andreas Siegert [EMAIL PROTECTED] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------ Unsubscribe by mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED], with 'unsubscribe filmscanners' or 'unsubscribe filmscanners_digest' (as appropriate) in the message title or body ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe by mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED], with 'unsubscribe filmscanners' or 'unsubscribe filmscanners_digest' (as appropriate) in the message title or body
