That's something different, though. - dxva2 and d3d11va are Windows APIs, thus fall under "OS" - VT on mac/iOS does the same - vaapi and the kernel API seem to be compatible with GPL (at least currently), so they would stay. - out of similar things such as NDI, SRT seems to be open source now?
