First of all NAK at this patch. Second @Michael, I think the, let's say creative, way you brought up these problems, doesn't ring well with well or get thru as intended with many people. Third, AFAIU this was to start discussing that issue, but I think it's rather weird to to that in this mixed patch series. Not sure how to proceed, but I would think it's better to at least change the subject when discussing this further or maybe start a new thread by optionally quoting this patch.
