After I made the ebook free, I contacted Lou Logan. He mentioned that (he
is not with FFmpeg anymore but that) FFmpeg.org did not want to make
assumptions on other authors. Quoting him:
I know you did this before, but if I recall correctly the main problem was that

previous patch included many other books. We did not know if those other authors
wanted their books to be listed. (I assume they would, but FFmpeg does not like
to make assumptions on other peoples behalf.)
I'm talking about starting a page on the wiki and listing all books
*there*. No patch required.
