I don't have a webcam, I intend to use audio only. 
If you can use your camera in other programs it should work (if you point gnomemeeting 
to the correct device, and have sufficient permissions on it).
You can check your syslog or harddrake to see if it is recognized.

I don't know if it'll work in your DMZ...  (depends on how its configured)
AFAIK you need to use portforwarding on the firewall if you don't have the proper NAT 
module. (check the documentation for the correct portnumbers)
Gnomemeeting needs to be using your firewalls external IP to work. (I think there's a 
setting for that too)

In the main interface, click ILS server, this shows the default server.  Right click 
to change or add.
There's also a tab in settings/preferences about this, it sets the default server you 
log on to.
If you didn't change this, it should work.
