Hi guys, I was just updating my version of gshield, and it seems they have added some new features..
The most interesting of which is that you can specify strings that you want dropped if they appear from external packets.. in the file for that, you just specify: cmd.exe default.ida root.exe and any others you think of.. and the firewall will reject packets from them.. an interesting feature considering the recent discussion of apache rules and such to deal with it.. this way they don't end up in apache's logs as apache never see's them.. This beats any solution I have seen thus far. just FYI.. rgds Franki
