is there a command or utility which would show
which processes are using how much of which parts of memory?
'free' gives some numbers,
but just what is using 'buffers' & 'cached' is unknown
nor does it show what is 'used +/- buffers/cache':
the last number seems to vary unpredictably.
'gkrellm' is pretty & quite good for CPU;
'top' & 'ksysguard' give a whole table, but lack explanation.
