I looked into /usr/lib/rpm/macros and saw nothing weird (thougth don't know exactly how it shoul be).
Also, I did a: rpm -Uvh --force --allfiles rpm-4.0.3-10mdk.i586.rpm but it is still with the same problem :-(( Any more bet?
