Robert,

Sorry that I did not reply sooner, I've been doing some research on my server 
and here's my plan, the server will be used for:

1. School web page and hits counter
2. database containing all school lessons.etc...
3. Mail server
4. scheduling apointments
5. downloading homework assignments
6. Maybe fax sending..

Is this too much for one server?
