You should maybe tell him about that...

Oh golly me, I can't wait! Someone should build a GOOD virus scanner... I
mean, take this example - my sister, she's 13 or 14... Never was good with
dates.... Anyhow, I setup Linux on her computer which she shares with my
other sister. They love it. It is working. Anyhow, my one sister decides to
use my mom's computer which is running Windows ME... She's chatting away on
MSN, and one of her friends sends her a link. What she didn't know was that
it was a worm/virus thingy on her friends computer that actually sent the
link. That's fine and all. I would possibly have clicked the link too.

Now, what does it do? It's a website, running on her friend's PC, and it says
you need to download this plugin by VeriSign. She clicks on the link to
download it. Norton AntiVirus pops up and says "This file is acting like a
virus. Do you really want to run it? Yes, or Yes?" Okay, well it probably
gave her a Yes/No choice, but she wouldn't let you think that... She goes off
and clicks "Yes, I want to infect this PC with a virus." D'oh! Why can't a
virus scanner even be idiot proof?

Yes, Microsoft to name one.

> Wasn't there someone looking for a reason NOT to use Netscape? :^)

I don't need a reason. Oh wait, oh yes I do. "Netscape sucks." Oh, and if you
don't like that reason, you could chose from one of the other two "Galeon is
good." or "Opera is good."
