True, and you may have a good point. I merely selected the "Development"
option at install time.

I personally don't see way I would. However, I am a little reluctant to
manually remove packages that may have some dependencies that aren't managed
well (I realize this last comment reflects my lack of knowledge here).
I would rather add the appropriate packages if possible. But after all is said
and done I would really just like to resume building my own rpm's, etc.
