Do you know any modem that has software for linux ? for updating the firmware 
in linux or something like that ?

V.92 let you in some way, recive phone calls while connected to the internet, 
I know it windows, when someone calls you, a popup is displayed asking you if 
you want to hang up (internet) and get the phone call, with a caller ID this 
can be very usefull (this is one of the features of V.92 that I'm really 
intrested on).
