looks to me that the "username" (usually nobody) in which the web server is running as doesnt have right to read or access your DocumentRoot (/var/www/html on your previous post?). did you use the same config files after the upgrade? which username is the 8.1 apache server running as before? you can try to give full access "777" to your DocumentRoot and try to access the site again. if it worked, its purely a permission problem. if it didnt work even with the full access set on your DocumentRoot, it could be a configuration problem. hth dianne > > It worked fine on 8.1.
