Hi,

        I posted this yesterday, but I I didn't see it in
the postings.

    Question:

    What the mechanism used to "background images in Kde (Intel,
Mandrake 8.1)",
    and can this ?Mechanism? be use to drop the same image
    to a IBm Risc 6000 running Aix 4.3.3 and CDE.

    If this ? mechanism ? is an Xsetroot, how do I convert the
jpeg to a pm files easily.
