go and find a ipmasqadm src rpm on rpmfind.net --rebuild and install it.. then go looking for some howto's on ipmasqadm, its really easy and there are heaps of them...
I use it for exactly that, we have a IIS web server on the internal network (not my choise) and only port 443 is available to the outside world... works great.. rgds Frank -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of lord icon Sent: Tuesday, 2 October 2001 5:44 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [expert] Port forwarding with ipchains? I was wondering if it is posible to do port forwarding from the internet nic to a machine on the internal network. The internal network is masqaraded behind this linux box, and I wanted to have port 23 (telnet) forwarded to another machine on the internal network, instead of the gateway machine answering itself. Can it be done? What would the syntax look like, because I have tryed verious diffent command likes and have not yet got it to work.
