Hi all, just a question. GCC is a GPL, open source software and it comes with libraries that will be used in the programs that are created using them. These resulting programs that we developed, do they fall under GPL/Open Source as well since GPL is otherwise known as Contagious License? This normally means that if one used codes that fall under GPL then the resulting programs are GPL as well. If one did not use any GPL codes other than GCC, does that programs/software became proprietary or open source? Thanks in advance for the answer.
