Hello List,
I have installed LM 8.0 and am generally impressed except for font rendering which is
poor in Konqueror,
better in Netscape and, so far, better in Gnome, which I have not tried before. The
problem with Gnome
is that the panel->add to panel->launcher process does not work. The 'create launcher
applet' opens but
doesn't work - there is no cursor and it is impossible to enter any info on the
proposed application,
meaning I cannot add any legacy applications to the panel such as fetchmail and mutt.
Has anyone else
found this problem and a solution? Thanks.
