Can you give more explanations on that point ?: I got the floppy from 3Com. If I run the 3c5x9cfg dos soft, I got a red-hat installer like program that asks can be used to turn off the PNP. the problem is that each time I select the PNP and modify the screen turns gray and nothing happens until I type ESC. At that time I have a message "out of memory" I tried also "3c5x9cfg configure /pnp disabled". I got the message PNP has been turn off but when I check again with 3c5x9cfg it's ON !? What 's the hell is happening? ifconfig shows that the card is recognised (it gives me the ethernet address of the card but I can not ping any box of the net. In case I need to set the IRQ, how to decide the value? TIA Alain
