Hi everyone. After running a Mandrake Update a month ago I started having
difficulties with RPMs on my 7.1 box. After running an rpm -i command I
get the following message:

        [root@foo packages]# rpm -i openssh-clients-2.1.1p3-3mdk.i586.rpm
error getting record ld-linux.so.2 from //var/lib/rpm/requiredby.rpm

I get this with all RPM installs, not just the above example. Strange
thing is that 9 times out of 10 the package actually works, I gather that
the error comes at the end then rpm is trying to update the databases.

Any suggestions on how to fix this? I don't know too much about RPM so am
not sure if there are any utilities that I can run to check the database
integrity or repair whatever is broken.

Thanks in advance,

--chris
