Hi All,

I'm running MDK 7.0 and I've just updated it to the latest glibc RPM on the
mirror sites. Since then I'm getting locale errors from many of my commands
(e.g. xterm). Here's my ~/.xsession-errors so you can see what I mean:

perl: warning: Setting locale failed.
perl: warning: Please check that your locale settings:
        LANGUAGE = "en",
        LC_ALL = "en_GB",
        LANG = "en"
    are supported and installed on your system.
perl: warning: Falling back to the standard locale ("C").
perl: warning: Setting locale failed.
perl: warning: Please check that your locale settings:
        LANGUAGE = "en",
        LC_ALL = "en_GB",
        LANG = "en"
    are supported and installed on your system.
perl: warning: Falling back to the standard locale ("C").
Warning: locale not supported by C library, locale unchanged
Warning: locale not supported by C library, locale unchanged

Some of the messages are reported by perl, but the bottom two are not. None
of these messages were present before I updated the glibc version.

Has anyone got any ideas before I revert to the previous version?

TIA,

Tony
