Vincent,
Try using sndconfig to detect your Crystal codecs.
I personally have had NO luck at all with LM's hardware detection.
There are many sound cards using the Crystal chip and with a little
experimenting you should be able to make it go.
(I even had luck setting up an old Opti 928 with sndconfig)
