This list IS the newbie list - (almost) nothing but idle chatter, bickering,
"thank you" and ME TOO posts.

Folks at Linux-Mandrake - 7.0 is either REALLY REALLY broken (which
the PCMCIA STILL is), or you need to set and ENFORCE some ground rules for
participation on your lists. How about a moderator? It already takes 3
hours to get a mail to the list, which, by the way, really drags out the
life of a thread since dozens post with the answer when the first one would
likely have ended the thread (well, after a few more ME TOOs and Thank
Yous).

Finding decent info through all this offal is impossible and an incredible
waste of cycles - this thread is a prime example.

My company (largest reseller of Compaq IA AND Alpha, largest
reseller of Intel "white" and until last week largest reseller of IBM
Netfinity) is a Certified Red Hat Reseller, and I'm an RHCE - but I've
always pushed L-M to the desktop whenever anyone asks. You guys need to get
your support in order, or others (like me) are going to bail. RH6.2 is far
more stable than L-M 7.0. It's a simple matter of what works, and how easy
it is to fix what's not.....
