Dear All,

Very interesting discussion. I totally share the issue and much of the
analysis (eg automated mails from sites such as amazon etc. are
difficult to process with exmh).

My workaround is simple, and for me totally sufficient. I am using a
Mac OS system. Mac OS has a quite reasonable html preview ability
which can even be used in thee finder (file browser) with QuickLook.

So I have a procmail recipe that stores all parts of an email in a
specific folder (which I called MIME, it also has my attachments) and
then moves anything with a .htm or .html extension to a subfolder
called "html". I "read" those mails with the Finder file preview
option which covers 95% of needs, and when I need more it is easyf from
there to just open in a browser (I use brave for that).

It is not a very elegant solution, but it is quite workable for me so
far. Any better suggestions warmly welcome.

Best,
Marc
