Desired Experience

·         12 -15 years' experience technically leading software projects
through all stages of the life cycle

·         Very proficient in the design and development of microservices

·         Proficient in creation of architectural & design documents like
Solution Architecture, UML, HLD, LLD

·         Must be good at troubleshooting problems & above average
problem-solving skills

·         Must have very good communication skills and good experience
working on onsite-offshore model

·         Should be 100 % hands-on and will need to actively guide an
offshore team on daily/weekly priorities

·         Proven consulting / architectural experience in Cloud Platforms -
AWS, Azure & GCP.

·         Proven experience in Linux / Windows systems administration.

·         Proven production service trouble-shooting skills that span
applications, systems and network.

·         Strong experience in web application concepts and standards.

·         Multiple Enterprise Implementation of Tool Chains for fully
automated CI&CD.

·         Managing teams of junior DevOps/SRE members and mentoring them.

·         Demonstrated programming skills in any of Ruby/Python/Java, etc.

·         Understanding of operational principles e.g. capacity planning,
monitoring and incident handling.

·         Understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA and REST).

·         Solid understanding of branching and merging concepts and
strategies.

·         Very good knowledge of Agile / Scrum principles.

·         Extremely proficient in articulation, communication and
presentation.

·         High integrity & Stewardship.

·         Problem-solving skills & learning attitude.

·         Minimum of 2-year experience on Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, Pig
(Hortonworks)

·         Working knowledge of Apache Spark

·         Working knowledge of Kafka, Zookeeper





Candidate should have hands-on working knowledge of at-least one items from
each of the rows mentioned below.

·         Continuous Integration: Jenkins, VSTS, ThoughtWorks GoCD, Bamboo
etc

·         Monitoring & Metrics Tools: Nagios/Zabbix/SaaS monitoring tools
like Scout/Datadog.

·         APM: NewRelic, Dynatrace, HoneyBadger.

·         Log Management: Loggly, Sumologic, Splunk, ELK.

·         Cloud Platforms: Amazon AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.

·         Container Orchestration: Kubernetes, Mesos, Docker Swarm.
