Hi Kiran, No problem. I wanted to investigate if their was any way to get web queries to work with your URLs. Notice that the links I gave describe how to work with parameters in some cases. Also you might be able to use Yahoo! Pipes or DERI Pipes to convert other URLs to XML format (and even merge and manipulate data from multiple sources), and then use an Excel Web Query to fetch that. "Pipes" can be password protected with both services.
However, making a direct connection and parsing the data yourself (as in your IE manipulation request) would be more secure than allowing confidential data to pass through third-party servers with Yahoo or DERI Pipes. I will leave the IE stuff to others, as I haven't done it in many years and don't have any ready examples.
