I am doing a data dump into and excel spreadsheet and the date format that I get is YYYYMMDD. I am trying to sum the data by two criteria using the sumifs function, but I keep getting an answer of zero, when I know that is not the correct total. I changed the date format, but still get the same answer of zero. When I click on the insert function on my toolbar to look at my formula, the cell with a date of 1/3/10 shows a result of 40181. I know this is the excel date function starting from 1900, but I don't know how to fix it.
Someone please help, it will save me so much time if I can sum all of the data by two criteria. -- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Some important links for excel users: 1.
