Hi,
I would suggest you to prepare a sample spreadsheet and forward that
to Group as an attachment.

For bringing in the large data, you can use Data -> Import External Data.
MS Query (SQL) will help you to modify the import.

For validation, you can use Data-> Validation with the use of Offset
and named ranges.
