I am developing a ticket managing program for a community choir and now have generated an extensive list of ticket purchasers by name, where some names are repeated many times over due to multiple purchases by the same person. I would like to generate an alphabetized list by name, a patron list, where any given name is only found once so that the list is not so long. I could just alphabetize the list of data and then go in and manually remove instances where the same name is repeated many times, but this would be time consuming. Is there some neat way to generate a patron list automatically ?
