I too use my inbox as the sent folder and then file from there. I have been doing it for years and works well and reduces the emails I keep greatly to just what is needed.
I also never use threads and things work better. -- Thanks Luigi -----Original Message----- From: Ángel <an...@16bits.net> To: evolution-list@gnome.org Subject: Re: [Evolution] Sent messages missing in search folders Date: Tue, 23 Aug 2022 17:43:14 +0200 On 2022-08-23 at 15:32 +0200, Milan Crha wrote: > You can setup the mail account to store reply messages in the folder > they had been replied from, instead of in the Sent folder, but it > works only for replies, new threads started by the user won't be > complete. You can configure INBOX to be your Sent folder. That way the new threads will end up in the inbox (unless you are replying from a different folder). I have been using this kind of setup for many years, and IMHO it's cleaner to have emails in both directions in the same folder (I then classify from INBOX into the proper subfolder, often with manually- triggered rules). YMMV. _______________________________________________ evolution-list mailing list evolution-list@gnome.org To change your list options or unsubscribe, visit ... https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list
